The Washington Noon Rotary Club was enlightened by guest speaker Bill Tobin, ShelterBox USA Rotary International Relations Manager, during the Monday, March 30th “virtual meeting.”

Tobin, who resides in El Dorado, Ca., explained how and why ShelterBox USA Disaster Relief continues to fulfill the global mission of providing shelter for more than seventy million people who’ve been displaced by conflict, disease and natural disaster.

ShelterBox USA is supported by Rotary Clubs throughout the world. The Washington Noon Rotary Club proudly salutes Tobin’s service beyond self. He is a seven time winner of the U.S. President Volunteer Service Award.

Because of the Covid-19 virus, the Washington Noon Rotary Club continues to conduct “virtual meetings” each Monday at noon.
